Masaki and I visited HongKong from Nov.18 for one week. It was our first visit although we have been to Beijin and Taipei before. Now that Hong Kong was returned to China from England, they should be part of China. But in fact, they don't speak standard Chinese (they have their own language named Cantonese) and most of them insist they are not Chinese. HongKong has higher population density than that of Tokyo. There were many many skyscrapers and people were living on the 50th or 60th floor. Unlike Japan, they seldom have earthquake. back home |
