I bought a new digital camera at the end of March, but I'm still struggling with it. My last one was Kodak V570, which is very unique in that it has a 23mm ultra wide lens in addition to the normal 28mm lens. And it can "stitch" two or three scenes to make one very wide view.
But these days, Masaki, my husband often needs my digital camera for his business purposes, so he decided to buy me a new one. At first, I was hoping to find the latest version of the same series of Kodak V570, because I knew no other compact digital camera has 23mm ultra wide lens so far. But as you know(well, I didn't know though,) Kodak already withdrew from developing digital cameras...
So...I had to find a new candidate. I visited the camera shop very often and saw and touched lots of different cameras. And after two weeks of consideration, I bought RICOH R8 this time.
I like its classical appearance and picture effects are configurable in many ways - but this means I need more practice to controll it well. back home |
