Long time no see! It had been crazy hot in Tokyo these past few weeks so I was not in the mood of doing anything except breathing!(seriously!) In Japan, we had OBON WEEK. It is a week where our ancestors come back to see us. Most of workers are off from work from at least 13th to 16th August. (but many of them have one-week or more days off, so they can visit their hometowns or go travelling) Every year, we have better temperature right after OBON is over. Yesterday, we recorded more than 40C degrees at some areas in Japan and it was a big news for us. But today, it is quite comfortable outside in Tokyo. It seems OBON(mid summer season) is over for sure. The picture for today is watermelons with few black seeds inside. I had never seen such watermelons before so I was surprised : ) back |
