Masaki told me there is a big difference between American fans and Japanese fans when they watch baseball games. In the States, they watch and enjoy only individually. On the other hand, in Japan, fans become as if one huge group or family and they sing and yell all together. Some of them play the tranpets and the drums and others sing along together and yell the player's name with exactly the same rythm. I have no idea how they can do it so well! It seems there is an implicit rule among the fans, and they shot white long balloon into the air all together after the fifth inning. It was fun to watch. |
