Masaki loves watching air planes taking off although he HATES flying himself! (he gets very very nervous when being up high from the ground level) Anyway, he loves air planes - as far as he is standing on the ground on his feet! So we drove to the Haneda airport which is about 30 minutes away from here by car. It is mainly for domestic destinations, from north to south. My mother lives in Sapporo, the capital city of the northern big island called Hokkaido. From Tokyo to Sapporo, it is only half and an hour away by plane, but usually it takes us more than 16 hours (!!) to get there, because Masaki never wants to fly.... |
